The Final Four of the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament, or March Madness, tipped off on Saturday. After a start to the tournament that was filled with upsets, the Final Four is represented by many of teams that were expected to be there before the tournament started. The Kentucky Wildcats, looking to become the first undefeated national champion since 1976, play the Wisconsin Badgers in one semifinal, while the Duke Blue Devils play the Final Four’s only unexpected guest, the Michigan State Spartans, on the other side. The four schools left are historically rich programs led by legendary coaches, and they are sure to provide audiences everywhere with a great show. The video shows the predictions of various members of the WIS community for who will be the last team standing.
The predicted victor by the majority of students interviewed: the Kentucky Wildcats, were knocked out of the tournament on April 4, losing 71-64 to the Wisconsin Badgers, upsetting WIS students’ prediction.
