Thanksgiving is a tradition that originated in the United States and traditionally features turkey, roasted vegetables and stuffing, among many other dishes. Given that WIS is an international community, Thanksgiving means different things to each community member and looks different in every household.
“Thanksgiving is remembering the past and embracing the future,” junior Calder LeValley said.
“Thanksgiving is a fun family gathering,” senior Ava Gonzalez said

“Thanksgiving for me means love for family,” senior Laura Guimaraes said.
“Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks to those I love and have supported me, and to see family members who I don’t usually get to see as often,” senior Sofia Braccialarghe said.
“[Thanksgiving is] a time to get together with family and experience the joys of a diverse culture and cuisine,” senior Gabriel Piris said.
