I wanted to see what WIS students thought about the presidential candidates so I showed them pictures from the first presidential debate and asked them to caption it with what the candidate was thinking.
“She is trying to make a point.”
“I’m depressed.”
“She’s analyzing the problem at hand.”
“I don’t know what I’m saying.”
“She’s trying to explain why she’s more qualified than trump for the position.”
“He’s probably talking about something bad, or something about ladies that isn’t nice or Mexicans or Black people or something like China or something like that”
“He thinks he’s right about an argument.”
“He’s trying to come up with excuses.”
“He’s very passionate about what he’s talking about.”
“Hillary is a loser.”
“Hillary is not competent.”
“I think she’s grinning because something happened, something funny.”
“She’s proud of herself, and her accomplishments.”
“I want to win.”
“She’s thinking about how everyone in America hates her… with a passion.”
“He’s proud.”
“He’s observing and listening.”
“I don’t like what she just said, she’s making me angry.”
“He’s trying to prove Hillary that she’s wrong.”
“Hillary is still a loser.”
“He’s thinking about how his mouth looks like a butthole”
“Let’s get this over with.”
“I hate the other person.”
“I’m gonna win this.”
“They’re both like Yeah, I just won this.”
“I don’t want to be here but I have to smile.”
“I hate him.”
“I hate her.”
